Composition

Composition / Creative Writing courses provide intensive and thorough work in the skill and art of individual written expression. Many students do not arrive at GPGC with writing skills commensurate with their intellectual abilities. Accordingly, GPGC has made Composition a priority. While the emphasis is on imparting to students the skill of effective and concise exposition, there is considerable time devoted to developing their creativity through writing poetry and fiction as well.

Students have the opportunity to publish their best writing in the literary journal Miles to Go as well as the weekly newspaper, The Thinker.
